Left

He nodded his

Strike an officer

And put in an arrangement

He nodded his head to the left

Would anyone notice?

An officer, missing

Sleeping with the fishes

Not unless….

throwing down pain

into the streets

would anyone notice

if they called the left evil

if they told you we were jewish

if they told you we were terrorists

raging against change

and throwing our pain

through the glass ceiling

and down the well

unless you arrest

this dissenter

he will destroy

your country

your religion

your economy

raging against change

and throwing our pain

through the four freedoms

and into the pot

decades of fascism

they should end here
